MASSP News
Keep up to date with legislative issues in Missouri that impacts education. The School Administrators Coalition (SAC) sends out email updates every Friday during the session to all MASSP members. MASSP follows national legislative issues and through NASSP has a presence on Capitol Hill. MASSP also has members who are part of the NASSP grassroots network that stays in contact with federal legislators.
MASSP serves as a true proponent for the principalship by providing a voice for secondary school administrators where educational decisions are made. MASSP works with other administrator groups on legislative issues. MASSP is an affiliate of the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
MASSP is the only Association in Missouri serving the professional needs of principals and assistant principals of the state’s middle level and high schools with programs designed by secondary school administrators for secondary school administrators. MASSP serves as a true proponent for the principalship by providing a voice for secondary school administrators where educational decisions are made. MASSP members guide and direct the efforts of its officers, staff, and representatives in a manner conducive to the maintenance and improvement of the professional position of the principalship.
MASSP provides many professional development opportunities for secondary administrators based on Educational Leadership Policy Standards (ISLLC) and may be counted toward administrator’s re-certification. MASSP is a professional organization committed to the on-going improvement of secondary education, the professional development of middle level and high school principals and assistant principals, and programs for the youth of Missouri.
The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) seeks to recognize exemplary performance among secondary school principals who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students.
