Aspiring Principals Workshops

Aspiring Principals Workshops are co-sponsored by our MASSP districts and facilitators will be practicing superintendents, principals and assistant principals from your area. A wide variety of  activities will include discussions on the qualities and characteristics of effective principals, in-basket activities, expectations of today’s principals, and what superintendents look for when hiring a principal.

The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation

MASSP will sponsor the Reid Techniques of Interviewing and Interrogating workshop on February 23rd at Park Hill High School, just south of KCI on Barry Road (a few blocks west of Zona Rosa).  The program will begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 2:30.  Registration fee is $115 and includes lunch and materials.

ISLLC Preparation Sessions

(Future test dates are available at www.moassp.org.)

Dave Backer, the retired MASSP Conference Director, and Larche Farrill, the retired MCSA Outreach Director, will serve as facilitators.  Individuals seeking licensure as a principal or superintendent in the State of Missouri are encouraged to attend.

The registration fee is $125.00 per person, which includes lunch & handout materials.

Missouri Scholars 100

Nomination forms were mailed January 5, 2012 to ALL high school principals.

Missouri Scholars 100 for 2012 will be held on April 29, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Select in Columbia, MO.
